Carolyn strives to achieve this non-surgically at The Natural Face.

James Bond lady

09/05/2015 08:59

Hurrah for those who like to take good care of themselves.

Monica Belluci is about to make cinematic history. Later in 2015

the Italian actress will become the oldest ever Bond girl.

“I am a Bond lady” she corrects.

At 50 she is three years older than her co-star Daniel Craig and

was taken aback by the job offer.

The director, Sam Mendes asked her to lunch to talk it through.

“ I just blurted out:’I’m not a girl, I’m a woman. I’m a mature woman.

Do I have to replace Judi Dench?’ He was laughing and I was

like:’Why do you call me? I’m fifty years old. What am I going to

 do in James Bond?’

He said:’For the first time in history Bond is going to have a story

with a mature woman. The concept is revolutionary.’”

All sorts of things have come to her relatively late in life.

“The normality for my age is to have a child who is 20, but my kids

are 10 and 4. There’s something strange in my life. I had my first child

at 40, my second at 45 and at 50 I get to play a James Bond girl.”

Perhaps because of all this she is more curious than fearful about

ageing."  I don't want to be 20, I've been through all that".
